Everything starts and ends in the present, at that moment when Anahata hears the call. Join our physical selves in a backbend immersion of Rocket 2 – a magical second series rendition as created by Guru Larry Schultz. This vinyasa experience will massage the energy of the heart sending energy up to the throat, where the bridge of body and mind resides.
Crossing this gate we will activate our mind with the intention of a clear communication. Mark England will be our guide for daily sessions of conscious language to achieve integrity and the truth in our lives.
Rediscovering profound internal trust, our Inner Guru will put us back on our mat with Larry’s vision of Rocket 3, a routine that mixes not only R1, R2 but also brings back classic moments of Sri Pattabhi’s Primary Series, with the Kurmasana family.
So yes you got it, it’s a journey from the heart to the sky. Expect also dances, mantras a couple of sweat lodges "Temazcal" guided by the unique Maria “Spectral Moon”, this will seal the integration on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies that makes our current existence.
See you in the heart center of the world, Glastonbury.

The design of this training has been done with healing as a focus. We know how powerful the practice of strong Vinyasa is but before that we believe in the power of intention, so it will be appropriate if your intention of enrolling into this program is to re-connect to a more authentic version of yourself!

This course brings up the things that we love the most:

  • Healing through Ashtanga Vinyasa - Rocket.
  • Healing through awareness of mind.
  • Healing through self responsibility.
  • Healing by being part of a supportive community.
  • Healing by dancing, chanting and connecting with the Elements through the Sacred Temazcalli.

The Yoga People met Larry a long time ago. Back in 2001 he changed Jamie’s life, his practice and lifestyle. Dulce came along in 2008 when Larry introduced her to Jamie by saying “you guys should work together”.
What we want to transmit from Larry is not only the power of his creative modification of Patabbhi’s Ashtanga system, but also his sense of magic, of welcoming, of inclusiveness, and gratefulness to be alive, his sense of honoring everybody’s will regardless of the outcome. Just like he used to say: “everybody gets to do what they want to do”.

What to expect from this program?

  • Your body will feel fulfilled, as the asana will be make you stronger than you think you are.
  • Your mind will be moved, as you will realize that being attached to the outcome of a desire can only create chaos and suffering! We will take an approach of self-responsibility & awareness where you will realize that you create your karma and destiny but also your luck – it all depends on your perspective.
  • Your soul will find a break, surrounded by a safe environment where the goal is to achieve a sense of peace and detachment, a place where you can relax, breath and go with the flow.
  • The sweat lodge will open the ancestral lines, helping us see deeper shadows, this recognition will be consciously protected with the honouring of the Elements.
  • You will reconsider if you want to carry the stories and scripts that have formed you. Please know that the intention is not to drop and forget them. The goal is to change the perspective and emotions behind them, making an empowering story that helps our present and future.
  • The full program will be provided upon registration, you just have to relax and believe that we have planned this with our hearts and internal voices contemplating on the greater good for the greater number. Trust and join us for this one-time experience with your heart.

Earth Spirit Centre

Just five miles from Glastonbury, on the edge of Compton Dundon village in Somerset, EarthSpirit lies within the ‘temenos’ (sacred enclosure) of Avalon.
The centre is situated in a beautiful landscape next to two nature reserves; and just two minutes walk from St Andrew’s church, which has within its cemetery a yew tree over 1,700 years old. The seventeenth century farm buildings have been restored and specially converted for use as a venue. They are set within seven acres of fields and gardens.
The complex is based around a converted 52’ (15.5m) long barn, with oak timbers, reed torching (lining the inside of the roof) and stone walls. The feeling is medieval, but with modern comforts such as under-floor heating and a large woodstove. The high roof and skylights create a light, airy atmosphere.

The prices below are all based on double occupancy, if you wish to book a single room a fee of £180 extra applies.

Early Bird Rates (applies until the 15/Feb/2017) includes tuition, food, accommodation, sauna hot tub & two temazcallis.

Mark England

Mark is a personal development enthusiast and the co-founder of Procabulary. He's invested the past decade traveling the world to discover new techniques to help people build better lives.

Procabulary is a tool for the modern yogi. Negative emotions can keep people off the yoga mat or worse. Procabulary helps people solves these issues on their own and get back to loving their life.

Lololam

Lolo is not native to the city, she was born among the sheep and cows of the West Country. Growing up, she was told by every wanderer and hippy that she was a natural born healer, but the feisty little girl, full of rebellion, dismissed those crustys as loons and set off to be a rock star. However they were soon proved right, when she found herself drawn into a world where she was running around in scrubs, saving lives with nothing but a biro, duct tape and a piece of hose pipe! Lolo enjoyed being a nurse, but was constantly reminded of the limitations of western health care, prompting her to close the conventional medical door and train in Ayurvedic medicine – complete with massage, herbs and funky food habits. The yoga just kind of happened.

Having closely observed the consequences of inactivity and a poor lifestyle, Lolo is passionate about getting people on the mat – happy, raging, crying or laughing she’ll take whatever you’re bringing!

Marcus Veda

Marcus’ took the road less-travelled to yoga. Fresh out of Uni, he managed to use his degree in philosophy to justify spending his 20s touring the world as an international DJ, wholeheartedly committing to the hedonistic life. All professional jumping around was put pay to by a bad football tackle and compounded by some ill-fated onstage “breakdance” choices, that led to finally taking a (guru) friend’s advice in trying yoga to get fixed. A need to properly heal the body coincided with a sneaking desire for change in the mind that landed Marcus on the mat… Trying every style of class he could get to on every studio intro-offer in London, he finally landed on dynamic vinyasa and more specifically, the Ashtanga-inspired Rocket system, which satisfied his undying urge to fly. Completing his first 200hrs teacher training with the Yoga People in Goa he went on to further train in advanced progressive ashtanga and Yin Yoga, deepening his appreciation of what yoga can be beyond the asanas that drew him in. He is also part of the Dead Yogis Society, a movement to wipe the gloss off the lips of yoga and return to the breath, sweat and rawness of the practice… Letting (e)go.

Ambra Vallo

Ambra is a former Principal ballerina with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. Throughout her career she enjoyed the chance to perform on stages all around the world. She turned to yoga on a path to recovery from injuries that naturally result from the strenuous training regime, and as well as becoming a hobby she also credits it with helping to enhance and prolong her career. Slowly over the years she fell in love with the more subtle, spiritual parts of the practice.

Aside from being a facilitator, and a practitioner, Ambra also hold a Masters in Philosophy in Sports Psychology. She is a trainee with the Yoga Sport Science, and loves spending time with her beloved Baxter, a fore-paw standing Border Terrier frequently gracing her Instagram posts (@ambrasana).

Leon London

Leon’s interest in physical culture started at age 11 with martial arts. He then spent the next two decades exploring various arts, massage therapy and movement and was introduced to hatha yoga in his early twenties. Whichever discipline Leon was drawn to, he always found his way back to his yoga mat. Leon has studied Kashmir Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and finally the style that he calls home, Rocket Yoga. Leon undertook an Ashtanga Teacher Training with David Swenson and furthered his studies with Rocket Training under the supervision of David Kyle, then with Jamie Clarke and Dulce Aguilar of The Yoga People. Leon conducts workshops on the “flying " aspects of Rocket around the country and abroad with Marcus Veda, and can often be seen sweating it out on the mat! Leon’s session will be a rolling flow of inversions, arm balances and floating, set to an urban soundtrack! Expect to work hard, sweat hard and surprise yourself along the way!

Maria Luna Espectral

Maria'kame is a natural enjoyer of life since childhood, being always different. She was born and raised in a small community and a big family where she learned to work the land and be among nature. When young, she learned about oriental spiritual practices, and 18 years ago started doing Aztec dance and rituals, getting to know many elders in countless ceremonies. Almost 9 years ago, she was passed on the fire and “word” of the temazcal; Today she has ran more than 170 of them. Always universal and open-minded, she’s a Vipassanna practitioner, an artisan, a therapist, tantric student and astrologist (Mayan and Zodiac). Her spirit is that of a child, always giving and fun.
