This course focuses on the Elements of the ancient Tantric Chakra model. As such, we will focus on the lower four energetic centres (chakras) of the spine, addressing more specifically: Earth, Water, Fire and Air
Grounding in the practices of Yin Yoga and using other disciplines of Chakra meditation, pranayama, group & partner-work exercises, our journey will weave practice, yogic philosophy with elemental, transpersonal & spiritual psychology.
Why Yin Yoga & Elements to Transform?
~ Yin is a profound, internal practice, which develops interior awareness, harmonises energy flow and when practiced regularly, provides a bridge towards meaningful meditation and further inner-work practices.
~ When worked with an awareness of our Elemental constitutions, students can connect to perspectives and disciplines which develop self-realisation and more skilful approaches in which to flow within our lives.
What you will learn
~ The skills to teach in a way that addresses the physical and elemental being.
~ Functional Analysis on several yin poses to deepen your understanding of the practice and its application.
~ Anatomy of the lower body from a functional perspective.
~ Expect to have your elemental worlds awakened, as we learn how each element become weak and under-activated and learn awareness and strategies to bring about their enhancement and optimalisation.
